Which marketing and tracking cookies are placed and how do they work?
For marketing and tracking cookies, six sources place cookies that are all deleted after a certain period:

If you don't want websites to place cookies on your computer, you can adjust this in your browser settings. You can also easily delete cookies that have already been placed. This doesn't mean you'll stop seeing advertisements entirely. You'll still see ads on platforms like Facebook or in the Google display network, but they won't be tailored to your interests and may appear more frequently.
