From strategy to execution
At Hoppinger, we're not a consultancy that hands over a report and moves on. We embed ourselves in our clients' problem space: challenging their thinking, inspire them with a clear vision, co-developing their strategy, prototyping and validating ideas, and then staying involved as it all gets built.
What you'll be doing
You make sure we “build the right thing”. That means:
- Guiding management teams and boards through digitalisation, business model transformation and platform decisions, not as a presenter, but as a partner who asks the questions that get to the real issue.
- As linking pin, collaborating with data, design and technology teams to combine all these perspectives into a clear strategy for the long and short term to help our clients and grow and innovate.
- Translating long-term ambitions into grounded roadmaps. You’re great at making the complex navigable, not more complicated.
- Making the case for where digital and AI create real value. And where they don't.
- Staying involved when strategy meets reality: monitoring goals and KPIs, flagging when things drift, and helping steer back on track.
This is not a marketing or communications strategy role. You're working on business models, platform strategy and the decisions that directly affect where an organisation invests and why.
Who you are
You've likely worked as a digital product strategist, product lead or consultant in a context where your work had real business stakes. You understand how digital platforms are built and evolve, and you know how to have a credible conversation about it at C-level.
- You read the room. You know how to navigate stakeholders across the table, client-side and internally. You ask the right questions to bring to surface what's actually going on beneath the stated problem.
- You make complexity smaller, not bigger. You bring clarity in a room full of different stakeholders, different perspectives and ideas.
- You think in programs, not projects. You understand how digital products are shaped by business goals, user needs, and technical constraints. You can think in the abstract, but don’t lose touch with reality.
- You’re aware that perseverance and grit are part of the job: not only create a strategy but follow through to actually make it happen.
- You are grounded in the world of digital platforms and product and have an agency or digital product background.
- Your persuasiveness and influencing skills help you win over audiences and create ‘boardroom breakthroughs’.
- You have a deep understanding of what drives user value, though you’re background in UX or your experience in working on digital platforms and products. Or both.
- You have a natural feel for both the business side and the user side, knowing those perspectives need each other.
- AI has changed how strategic work actually gets done, and you've felt that firsthand. You use it hands-on, not as a talking point, and you're genuinely curious and active in finding out where it's still going.
What you'll get
A lot of autonomy, ambitious colleagues, and a culture where your development is taken seriously. On top of that:
